Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how NEXALIFY LIMITED ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with NoiseTape, our white-noise and sleep-sounds app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, and the NoiseTape website.

NoiseTape is designed to work offline. The app does not require an account, does not include advertising, does not use third-party tracking SDKs, and does not send your listening activity to us.

Information the App Collects

The NoiseTape app does not collect personal information from you.

The app stores a small amount of information locally on your device so the app can work as expected. This may include your selected language, speaker-light preference, volume setting, playback state, sleep-timer preference, and favorite sounds. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

NoiseTape does not request optional device permissions such as access to your media library, contacts, precise location, or health data.

Purchases and App Store Data

NoiseTape is distributed through the Apple App Store, and the full-app unlock is offered as a one-time in-app purchase. Apple processes purchases, refunds, taxes, receipts, and App Store account information under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your full payment card details from Apple.

Apple may provide developers with aggregated sales, proceeds, crash, performance, or analytics information through App Store Connect depending on your Apple settings and Apple's policies. We use that information only to operate and improve NoiseTape.

Website and Support Information

When you visit www.noisetape.app, our hosting provider and analytics tools may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, approximate location, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this information to keep the website reliable, understand aggregate traffic, and improve the site.

The website currently uses Google Analytics. Google may process information about your visit according to Google's own privacy terms. We do not use website analytics to identify individual app users.

If you contact us by email, we will receive your email address and the content of your message. We use this information only to respond to your request, provide support, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations.

How We Use Information

We use the limited information described above to provide and maintain NoiseTape, respond to support requests, improve the website and app, detect and fix technical issues, comply with legal obligations, and protect our rights.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share app listening activity because the app does not send it to us.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website, email support, analytics, business administration, or legal compliance. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

Retention

Local app settings remain on your device until you change them, delete the app, or reset app data through your device. Support emails and business records are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for support, legal, accounting, security, and business purposes.

Children

NoiseTape is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Your Choices and Rights

You can delete local app settings by deleting NoiseTape from your device. You can also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other rights available under applicable privacy laws. These rights may depend on your location and may be subject to legal limits.

You can control website cookies and analytics through your browser settings and applicable Google tools.

International Transfers

We are based in Hong Kong and use service providers that may process information in other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate legal bases and safeguards for international transfers.
